Oren Ziv is a former European marketing director for Apple and was a principal product spokesperson for Apple in Europe. For more than 20 years, he worked in the computer industry doing marketing management, communications, market development and product marketing. Prior to joining Apple, Oren was executive vice president, worldwide marketing at GoLive, where he launched the initial versions of what would become Adobe Golive, the breakthrough Website creation software. Independently, he has provided marketing communication consulting to many important Silicon Valley companies, including Adobe, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Ingram Micro, Oracle, Software Publishing, Sybase and 3Com.
Oren holds degrees. in English from San Francisco State University, a masters degree from Harvard University, and completed coursework for a Ph.D., in Language, Literacy and Culture at the University of California, where he specialized in the role of computer-based communications within corporate workplaces.
A native-Californian, Ziv has lived and worked in Europe since 1998. He currently resides with his family in Stockholm.
